Asbestos Designer
Asbestos Designer plans the scope of work, timing, phasing, and remediation methods for an asbestos project. Project Designer applies their knowledge of building construction to the design and development of abatement projects, abatement specifications, bidding documents, architectural drawings, and schematic representations of asbestos material locations.
Asbestos Designer composes and submits a variance application to the NYS Engineer for approval.
NYS asbestos variance is needed if you want to deviate from NYS CODE RULE 56 and can show a hardship as to why you cannot comply with NYS CODE RULE 56.
Asbestos Inspector
Pre- renovation survey
A pre-renovation asbestos survey is conducted when extensive construction or renovation is taking place in any building. This kind of asbestos survey is limited to the path of construction and/or the actual building materials being disturbed.
Asbestos Inspector
Pre-demolition survey
A pre-demolition asbestos survey is a comprehensive asbestos-containing material (ACM) assessment. This type of survey inspects components of an entire building, including interior and exterior building materials.
The following link Code Rule 56-032107 final is a list that is not inclusive of all types of ACMs, it only summarizes typical ACMs. The certified asbestos inspector is responsible for the identification and assessment of all types of ACM, PACM, suspect miscellaneous ACM, and asbestos material within the affected portion of the building/structure:
Asbestos Incident Assessment
Asbestos contamination is a serious issue that requires careful handling and assessment to see how far the contamination has spread. Assessment for Asbestos generally consists of 4 parts:
- Visual assessment ‐ to determine the extent of contamination by suspect materials,
- Sampling ‐ to confirm the presence of Asbestos in bulk materials, dust, or air,
- Interpretation of laboratory results by qualified professionals
- Reporting
Once the assessment has been completed, the following has to be done.
If Asbestos-containing materials are detected, a variance has to be composed and submitted to the NYS Engineering Department for approval of the clean-up process of the incidental of Asbestos.

Rotameter Calibration and Purchase Rotameter
We calibrate rotameters to keep you in compliance with the required quarterly secondary calibration per NYS DOH ELAP. Call for local pickup or ship the rotameters to us. We will keep track of your rotameter quarterly calibration and reach out to you 2 weeks in advance to either pick or have you mail rotameters so you don’t have to worry about staying in compliance.
- If you need a rotameter, call us to purchase either a high or low-volume rotameter.
Pump Repair and Purchase
Pumps fail from time to time. If a pump fails, it is much cheaper to have it repaired. The internal parts may just need to be cleaned, due to the dirty environment they are used in. AIR ONE TI-004 low-volume pumps are battery-operated. When they fail, we install a rapid charge and longer life battery. Call us for all your pump repair needs and new pump purchases.
